Pneumococcal vaccine and Shingles vaccine

After you have had your baby, the health visitor will contact you. Please book a six-week check for mother and baby with reception. Please do not bring acutely ill babies to this clinic.

Children’s immunisations are given by the practice nurse

Vaccines that are routinely offered to everyone in the UK for free on the NHS.

We offer nurse appointments for pill checks, LARC advice, emergency contraception and sexual health.

Regular immunisation (vaccination) is given free of charge to the following at-risk people, to protect them from seasonal flu:

• people aged 65 or over
• people with a serious medical condition
• people living in a residential or nursing home
• the main carers for an elderly or disabled person whose welfare may be at risk if the carer becomes ill
• healthcare or social care professionals directly involved in patient care
• some age groups of children

There are services not covered by the NHS, e.g. medical reports for insurance companies, claim forms for referral for private care, letters and forms which require the doctor to review the patient’s medical records, etc, we aim to complete all types of medical form with 28 working days depending on the complexity of the form, payment must be made in advance, we accept the following  payment methods: bank transactions or cards,

If you are travelling abroad you may need to be vaccinated. Please make an appointment with the practice nurse to discuss the vaccinations you will need, Some travel vaccines are ordered on a private prescription which cost more than the normal prescription charge. This is because not all travel vaccinations are included in the services provided by the NHS.
